Love It Leave It - Episode #62 - Dr. Amina Aitsi-Selmi
I am joined today by Dr. Amina Aitsi-Selmi, a Chief Liberation Officer. Before this, she was a doctor who was delivering babies in war zones. She's worked with the United Nations on global disaster risk reduction, and she immersed herself in the world of all things medical with a high intensity life of being a doctor in high-risk zones. Whilst this fulfilled one part of a passion and purpose, there was a slight emptiness and she was really tired of being on the ambition treadmill, chasing one thing after another, and decided to retrain as a coach to support people to really recalibrate their ambition and drive into more healthier ways of working. We have a fascinating conversation on how people can actually make change. How do we take some of this deep ambition and drive and fuel it into a new career? She also turns the tables to ask me my thoughts on the subject.
